De-stoning gin-soaked sloes

Post by lottiegb » 17 Feb 2011, 09:26

Can anyone advise on the best way to de-stone large quantities of used sloes, in order to re-use them in jam, cake and other recipes?

I've seen a cherry-stoner suggested and tried this but found that the whole sloe, being about the same size as a cherry stone, just went through the hole.

Help please, thanks!
