Can anybody help? Today I went to decant a bottle of sloe gin (sloes still in it) that I prepared a year (or two?) ago, and to my surprise the it fizzed fairly dramatically when I undid the lid. It also gave off a slight yeasty smell. I had always believed that the gin itself would kill off any stray organisms, but apparently not. Has anybody ever had this experience, and can I drink the resulting gin?
