What other spirits do you use for bottling fruit? Exchange recipe ideas here

Just wanted to say that, while I was buying Oliver Cromwell Gin in Aldi last autumn, I bought a few bottles of their "Tamova" vodka - the one with the red label (currently £10.39/70cl). I read somewhere a review that said it wasn't a bad vodka especially when used as a mixer and the reviewer spoke of no chemically after taste. Anyway, I am really taken with it after using it in most of the schnapps recipes I made - White Bullace, Blackberry & vanilla, Hawthorn, Damson etc.
